Meet the Board 👋
Michelle (Kat) Flynn
Founder & President
Kat founded Rally 4 Rescue in 2021, combining her love for volleyball and event planning to make a real impact for animals in need. She’s passionate about rallying Austin’s sports, music, and event communities to support local rescues and give abandoned pets a second chance.
When she’s not organizing tournaments or fundraising for rescue efforts, you’ll find Kat on the volleyball court, adventuring with her pup Divot, or snuggled up with her cats and a rotating crew of foster animals—affectionately known as the Funny Farm by her friends!
Hayley Fotjik
Vice President
Hayley is a founding member of Rally 4 Rescue, bringing her passion for animals and community to the cause. She owns Complete Bodyworks, specializing in sports and pain relief massage, and also runs a dog-sitting business, combining her love for animals with her entrepreneurial spirit.
When she’s not working, you’ll find Hayley on the volleyball court, playing pinball, camping, stand-up paddling, or soaking in Austin’s live music scene. She joined Rally 4 Rescue to help give local foster dogs the second chance they deserve.
Alyssa Feldkemp
Chief Financial Officer
Alyssa shares her home with two beloved dogs—Mogley, a wise 14-year-old, and Kane, an energetic 7-year-old. When she’s not crunching numbers, she enjoys getting lost in a good book and spending time outdoors with her pups by her side. Her deep connection to animals and nature is at the heart of everything she does.
As an accountant in the pet food industry, Alyssa brings her passion for pets and financial expertise to Rally 4 Rescue. As CFO, she plays a vital role in managing budgets, overseeing fundraising efforts, and ensuring the organization’s long-term financial health. Her strategic planning helps Rally 4 Rescue grow sustainably, allowing more foster dogs to find loving homes.
Brooke Cyphers
Chief Governance Officer
Brooke is a nature enthusiast who loves exploring the outdoors, especially with her adorable puppy by her side. Together, they are on a mission to make him the ultimate camping buddy, with each adventure bringing them closer to that goal.
Her dog is a foster fail, and while she’s thrilled to have him as her companion, Brooke also looks forward to the possibility of fostering more dogs in the future. Once she has a larger yard and more space, she hopes to help other dogs find their forever homes. In the kitchen, Brooke is a passionate cook, always experimenting with new recipes. Currently, she’s focused on perfecting her homemade mushroom ravioli, a dish she’s determined to master.
Kat Cockrell
Chief Communications Officer
With a background in advertising and marketing, Kat knows how to tell a story that resonates. As Chief Communications Officer for Rally 4 Rescue, she uses her copywriting and creative direction skills to amplify the organization’s mission. Kat oversees social media, website content, and marketing efforts, ensuring the cause reaches the right people and inspires action.
When she’s not crafting stories, Kat’s at home in Austin with her husband and kitty, Aidee the Chicago Street Cat. She’s always up for a craft project, planning her next camping adventure, or catching a show with friends in Austin’s vibrant live music scene.
